Buddy’s self selection for stress.
The last few days have been stressful to say the least…Buddy, our youngest rescue cat went missing.
This was totally out of character, as he is a cat of habit, always inside by 9pm and never very far from my side. So when he didn’t return overnight we knew he was in trouble.
Happily after a night and a day of trying to find him and 27 hours of fearing the worst, he returned hungry & clearly traumatised by what had transpired.
Of course my knowledge of stress in Cats went into overdrive and my thoughts turned to which remedies I should offer him, but Buddy knew what would calm his fight/flight response, apart from lots of parental cuddles of course... His Valerian Herb Pot

I think of it as a stress ‘first responder’ as it takes the edge off of most of our pets daily stresses within minutes, so much so we keep one upstairs and one downstairs in our house.
The pots have different positions to choose from, vented or fully open.
Valerian is perfectly safe for Cats & Dogs to eat, as & when they need it.
They will only ever take what they need at that particular moment & it may surprise you just how many times they actually need to control their levels of anxiety and stress, especially if they have access to the outdoors.
I have 4 rescue Cats all of different temperaments and they all have a dip in the pot at least once a week!

Buddy’s all good, he stayed extra close to home for a few days and with a few more goes on the Valerian & lots of TLC he was back to his normal bubbly self!
